ライオンのたてがみのように刈り込まれた（shear>shorn, shaved, groomed）スタイルで一騒動起こしてしまったCharlesくん。Labrador-poodle mixのオスはLabradoodleと呼ばれるのですね。勉強になりました。（UG）

He may be just a humble mongrel.. but Charles the labradoodle caused uproar when he went walkies groomed to look like a LION. Police were bombarded with emergency calls reporting a baby jungle cat prowling the streets.

The beast was seen patting at doors, seemingly on the lookout for a good meal.

First reports were met with disbelief. But as more came in quick succession police were forced to investigate.

With both lions in the local zoo accounted for, armed police rushed to the scene and discovered Charles the Monarch with his specially clipped fur and dyed “mane”.
His American football-mad owner Natalie Painter had him shaved to look like the lion on her university team’s badge in Norfolk, Virginia.
