大変遅くなりましたが、UG先生のご指名質問に挑戦致します。内容は以下の見出しのYoreについてです。

Yoreは文語表現で「昔の、前の」という意味(『ジーニアス英和辞典』第4版、大修館書店)があります。現在では見出しのようにof yoreで使われる事がほとんどとなりました。Wiktionaryには古期英語のġēaraが語源であるとの記載がありました。古期英語から来ている表現である為か、「大昔はそうだったな」というどこかノスタルジックなニュアンスがあります。ですので、ここでyoreを使ったのはそのニュアンスを出したかったからではないでしょうか。(EnDough)
