八重歯

今回は見出しにもあるdouble toothを採り上げます。記事の内容から意味は推測できますが，double toothで「八重歯」（『斎藤和英大辞典』斎藤秀三郎著，日外アソシエーツ辞書編集部編）という意味があります。加えて，文脈からsnaggletoothも同様の意味を持っていると考えられます。辞書にはsnaggletoothで「乱ぐい歯, そっ歯, 出っ歯」（『プログレッシブ英和中辞典』小学館）とありました。
