バレーボール女子の勝利は本当に見事なものでした。出先で結果を知ったので詳しい試合はまた後ほど見てみたいと思います。
それにしても、バレーの試合はテニス等と比べても観客が盛り上がっていますね。boisterousは ”someone, especially a child, who is boisterous makes a lot of noise and has a lot of energy”（LDOCE） とあり、あまりいいイメージではない観客の様子が書かれていたため、そこにも気を付けてよく試合を見ようと思います。
「バカ騒ぎ」というのが、日本語にぴったり合うのではないのでしょうか。大学のサークルの飲み会のイメージを思い出しました。(Minnesota)
Olympics: Japan whips S. Korea to win women's volleyball bronze
Japan's women's volleyball team captured its first Olympic medal in 28 years with a straight-sets victory over Asian rival South Korea in the bronze medal match at the London Games on Saturday.
The Japanese overpowered the South Koreans 25-22, 26-24, 25-21 in front of a boisterous crowd at Earls Court, claiming their first medal since taking the bronze at the 1984 Los Angeles Games.
"The players really pulled it out for me and I am deeply moved," said Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe. "At the end when we did it my mind just went blank. The players were really able to regroup well (from the semifinal defeat to Brazil)."
Victory also helped avenge the Japanese men's soccer team's 2-0 defeat to South Korea in the bronze medal match in Cardiff on Friday.
