pile-upは「多重、玉突き衝突事故」のことです。先生のふるさとで起きた事故ですが、先生によると高速道で門司側から下関に入ると視界が開けて、開放的な気分になると言われてました。運転者がlight injuryでよかったと思います。（Pear）
8 Ferraris, 1 Lamborghini involved in 14-vehicle pile-up in Yamaguchi

Fourteen vehicles were involved in a pile-up on an expressway in Shimonseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on Sunday morning.
The vehicles included 8 Ferraris, one Lamborghini and two Mercedes-Benz. They were part of a 20-vehicle convoy being driven by a group of sports car aficionados on their way from Kyushu to Hiroshima, TBS reported. The accident happened about 10:20 a.m. on the inbound lane of the Chugoku expressway. Ten people were taken to hospital with light injuries, TBS said.
Police said the accident occurred on an uphill curve when the Ferrari at the head of the group crashed into a road divider. The expressway was closed for six hours after the accident, TBS said.
