7月7日付のTHE DAILY YOMIURIの一面に載っていた「SIMカード解除」に関る記事らです。
“NTT docomo is the first carrier to have specifically responded to the ministry’s request.”
carrier を辞書で調べると「通信会社」という意味がありました（『ジーニアス英和辞典』第4版，大修館書店）。
実際に読み進めてみると，All they have to do is insert a different SIM card, which carries such information as the user’s phone number, according to Docomoとあり，やはりinformationなどはcarryするものだということがわかります。（なかお）
