「〜の鑑」＃2

ゼミ生のまずださんが以前「『これ，やった！』の感覚＃2」の中で「〜の鑑」という意味のepitomeを採り上げてくれましたが，USA TODAYに別の言い回しを見つけたので紹介します。

paragonを辞書で調べると「模範, 典型, 逸品」とあり，例文としてa paragon of beauty「絶世の美人」，a paragon of virtue「淑徳の鑑」が挙げられていました（『プログレッシブ中英和辞典』小学館）。
個人的に学校環境のIT化は近い将来教育に関わっていく者として非常に興味があります。おそらく学校現場のパソコンはMicrosoftのものだと思いますが…。（院生 小山本）
