　震度6強の首都直下型地震が起きた場合を想定し、外国人の帰宅困難者が出ると予想した訓練が六本木ヒルズで行われました。

Quake drill for foreigners held at Tokyo's Roppongi Hills

An earthquake drill focusing on foreign residents was held in the center of Tokyo on Jan. 17--the 23rd anniversary of the Great Hanshin Earthquake.

The run-through was conducted at the Roppongi Hills commercial complex in Minato Ward and based on a scenario that a quake of upper 6 on the Japanese intensity scale had struck just beneath Tokyo.

Employees of Mori Building Co., operator of Roppongi Hills, and international disaster volunteers took part in the drill, giving instructions in English and guiding about 20 people, including U.S. and German embassy employees, to safety.

　run-throughを取り上げます。文脈から、今回行われた訓練のことをさしていることがわかります。『ライトハウス英和辞典』（第5版　研究社）で調べると「リハーサル」とありました。LDOCEには “a short practice before a performance, test etc” とあり、パーフォーマンスやテストの前のちょっとした練習という感じがします。

　上記の英和辞典によると、句動詞の “run through …” には「…をざっと調べる、…に目を通す、…を見返す；…のリハーサルをする」という意味があり、ここではハイフンで繋げた名詞の形で用いられています。（aqua）
