本日は”cold”を見ていきます。『Wisdom英和辞典（第三版）』（三省堂）で調べてみると副詞用法で「完全に，きっぱりと，準備なしに」という訳が出てきました。
They can arrive cold, with no particular knowledge of a business, analyze the data, juggle a set of generic strategies (basic building blocks) on a chart, write a report, drop an invoice, and leave.
