気になった表現はdocket /dάkɪt/ です。文脈から意味を予想しようとしてみましたが、力及ばず分かりませんでした。
そこで『ウィズダム英和辞典』を引いたところ、「〈訴訟事件表など〉に記入する」とありました。また、LDOCEでは“a list of legal cases that will be heard in a particular court”と定義されています。つまり、今回の申し立てが正式に受理されたことを表しているのではないかと思います。
