Good morning from Helsinki

Dear Dr. Tanabe and my fellow students,

Good morning from Helsinki.

I have a lot of things to tell you by now, but jet lag is killing me! I'm so sleepy that I cannot think properly even in Japanese, to say nothing of English!

But the show must go on! We'll have to interview a lot of people as part of our study from tomorrow on. We should not be afraid of doing this job and not asking strangers in English.

We'll start off by going to church and interviewing some church-goers there. I am thrilled at the thought of this. The research will really start!!
