Report from LA

This is the last day of my west-coast traveling. I am flying back to Lincoln, Nebraska, from LA tonight.

I enjoyed sightseeing spots in each state, Washington, Oregon and California, at the same time, I learned a lot of hints of communication. In addition , of course, I was able to soak myself in “English Shower”. Mexican English which I heard in LA was hard to understand at the beginning of staying there.

This is a picture that I took at Santa Monica on August 6th. I was staying at a house of my mother’s friend in Torrance. I rode a bike both ways from her house to Santa Monica, which is about 50km away. Of course, my arms got tanned. The reason why I did this was I just wanted to see this college with my eyes where my parents used to go to when they were students. Comparing this college with universities such as Senshu and UNL, its campus was comparatively small and a lot of international students were learning there. Honestly, nothing inspired me. Having said so, this college actually a tribute to my parents and eventually myself. My visit was etched deep in my memory. (WREN@LA)
