ilk/ílk/を取り上げます。前に形容詞があるので名詞であることは明らかですが、どう発音すれば良いのかわからなかったのでidk(I don’t know)のようなスラングかと思いました。
英辞郎on the WEBで調べると「種類、階級、同族、同類」という意味を持つことが分かりました。続いてOxford Dictionaryでは“A type of person or thing similar to one already referred to”と定義されています。またilkは900年以上前の古期英語のときからthe sameという意味で使用されていました。(Kiwi girl)
