Joeを取り上げます。文中ではa cup of Joeと書かれており、「一杯のジョーさん？？」と疑問を抱きました。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）を引いたところ、アメリカの俗語で「コーヒー」と載っておりました。Oxford Dictionary of English (2th) にも、"coffee"と定義されております。
