A team of researchers, mainly from Kumamoto University and the National Institute for Environmental Studies, said on Sept. 4 that it discovered patients are more likely to suffer from acute myocardial infarction--the medical term for a heart attack--on the days after yellow sand is carried by seasonal winds to Japan.
