These Five Americans Moved To Japan For Street Fighter 3, Which Is 20 Years Old
Street Fighter is one of the most prominent fighting game series in the world, but it can be hard to track down competitive arcade scenes for some of the older games, like Street Fighter 3. Earlier this week, YouTube user Phil H. uploaded a short doc where he interviewed five Americans who moved to Japan to, among other things, play Street Fighter 3.
Some, like Ryan and Nate, teach English. Others, like Dusty, are students. Many of them frequented forums like Shoryuken, and all of them came to Japan to delve into the competitive scene still alive in the arcades of Japan, 20 years after the launch of Street Fighter 3.

今回はtrack down を取り上げます。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）によると、「（獲物など）を追い詰める，（犯人など）を追い詰めて捕まえる，…をやっと見つけ出す」や「（物）を徹底的に調べる」などと書かれておりました。
Oxford Dictionary of English(Second Edition Reserved, Oxford University Press)にも、 "to find sb/Sth after searching in several different places "と定義されておりました。
したがって文中では、「見つける」という意味合いで使われていると思います。ただし、見つけることが困難であることが強調されていると考えられます。(Gomez)
