アメリカ大統領選挙に勝利したトランプ氏ですが，12月19日の選挙人による投票が行われるまで，確実に大統領になられるとは限らないようです。選挙人は国民の意思にもとづいて代理で投票を行うため，トランプ氏に過半数が投票するはずです。しかし，もし538人の選挙人の内，トランプに投票する者が過半数の270人を下回れば，ヒラリー氏が大統領になる可能性も残されます。
