Japanese man killed in Colombia identified
Police in Colombia have identified the Japanese man who was killed in the country last week as 22-year-old Ryo Izaki.
Izaki was in his senior year at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. He was shot dead in the city of Medellin on Saturday.
Police say 2 men robbed Izaki of his mobile phone and tablet when he was walking in a residential area. They say he chased the pair and was shot during a skirmish.
Izaki reportedly arrived in the city on that day. The victim's family says he was there to visit the country.

LDOCEでは“a fight between small groups of soldiers, ships etc, especially one that happens away from the main part of a battle – used in news reports”と定義されています。 (lua)
