アメリカン・ミュージック・アワード2016が20日に開催され、様々な有名アーティストがパフォーマンスを披露する中、トランプ次期大統領への反対意思を歌詞にいれるバンドがいるなど、今年は一味違った授賞式になったようです。
Green Day lead anti-Trump comments at American Music Awards
Green Day were perhaps the most vocal group on the night.
During a pyrotechnic-filled performance, they turned their track Bang Bang into an anti-Trump song.

Selena Gomez made a return to the stage after ducking out of the spotlight in August.
She won favourite female artist.
The singer said the depression and anxiety she experienced as a result of the condition lupus meant she needed to take some time out.
"I had to stop because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside," she said, on the brink of crying.
"I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what's in here," she said with her hand on her heart.
今回取り上げるのは“duck out”です。
まず、“duck”には動詞で「（急いで）隠れる、逃げる、こっそり外に出る」といった意味があります。
『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版、大修館書店）で“duck out”を調べると「…をしないですまそうとする、（責任を）逃れようとする」となることがわかりました。
LDOCEでも“duck out of something”で“to avoid doing something that you have to do or have promised to do”と定義されています。
今回、サプライズ出演したセレーナ・ゴメスは“ducking out of the spotlight in August”で、「（闘病を理由に）8月に表舞台から退いていた」となることがわかります。(flyingbird)
