Voters in Taiwan are going to polls to choose their next president. Attention is focused on whether Saturday's election will produce a change in government for the first time in 8 years.

On Friday, Chu held a final rally in his electoral power base, New Taipei City. He urged people to go out and vote for their shared desire for economic prosperity and cross-strait peace. He called on supporters to work together for the future of Taiwan.
