‘Loneliest Generation’

毛沢東政権から続く「一人っ子政策」の爪跡が、今も残りつつあります。

この‘Loneliest Generation’という見出しですが、中国で言うところの「小皇帝」と言われる世代のことを形容する表現です。例のLost Generation（cf. "Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose."）をもじったのでしょうか，ネットで調べてみましたところ、「親や祖父母の過干渉を受けて育ち、ちやほやされてきた世代」とのこと。この言葉には軽蔑のニュアンスがつくともありました。（Kawada）
