米国東部に暮らした経験がないとわかりにくいかもしれませんが、ここのcorridorとはどのような意味なのでしょうか。ninetailsくん、どうぞ。(Chris Nomurada)

At 100 M.P.H., Train Was Said to Be Going Twice the Speed Limit Before Wreck

The Amtrak train that derailed in Philadelphia on Tuesday night was traveling at a speed of at least 100 miles an hour or twice the speed limit in that part of the corridor, according to two people with knowledge of the investigation.

The speed of the train was recorded in the so-called black box data recorders that were recovered from from the wreckage, while emergency crews searched for more survivors and victims of a crash that killed at least seven people and injured more than 200.
