記事を読んで気になったのは“latticework”です。“latticework”は「格子造り;格子」とありました。「『リーダーズ英和辞典第2版』研究社」また、LDOCEには“a pattern or structure made of long pieces of wood, plastic etc that cross each other so that the spaces between them are shaped like DIAMONDS”と記されています。
記事は「あらゆる壁や柱を行き来する格子の亀裂が残り、現地の高校のコンクリートの壁は鏡のように粉々になっていた」と伝えています。（faith）
