注目したいのは、resolutely denounceという表現です。『ライトハウス英和辞典』第２版（研究社）によると、格式語であり「断固として」という意味でした。同英和辞典を見ると、resolve（resolutionも）と同じ語源の語とあります。この副詞とdenounceがあわさって，安倍首相の使った「言語道断」に近い英訳となったわけですね。（Kawada）
