New York Today: Your Last Minute

Good morning on this cloudy but brightening Friday.

The days have gotten shorter, but your holiday to-do list hasn’t. So …

On your mark. Get set.

Go!

Buy a tree.
Untangle the lights.
Tip the doorman.
Get a gift for every last oddball relative.
Wrap them.
Grate potatoes, or wash the fryer.
Buy a plane ticket.
Set a (tasteful) vacation auto-reply.
Find a bikini.
Find a cat sitter.
Remember what it feels like to wait in line.
(Or don’t.)
It’s officially the last minute.

We’re looking for a photo of your preparations — or lack thereof — for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and any other holiday you may celebrate.

Please send your high resolution photo to nytoday@nytimes.com by Tuesday with the subject line “Last Minute.” And tell us a little bit about what’s happening in the photo, and where it was taken.

A selection of procrastinators’ pictures will crown this column on the morning of Christmas Eve.

Here’s a slide show of this past Week in Pictures.

And what else you need to know for Friday and the weekend.
