up

We were two goals up after thirty minutes of the first half.(前半30分を過ぎて我々は2ゴール勝っていた)という用例が挙げられていました。本文も「ネッツがその時5点リードしていた」と解釈できます。(Koyamamoto)

Cavaliers Mix It Up and Edge Nets
CLEVELAND — Coach David Blatt decided, once again, to scramble his starting lineup before the Cavaliers’ game against the Nets.
In: Mike Miller, who had missed the previous seven games after sustaining a concussion and had scored 19 points all season. Out: Shawn Marion, another veteran whom Blatt wanted to anchor the team’s second unit.
Blatt went into more depth on the change, acknowledging that LeBron James liked to play with floor spacers (Miller is one of his personal favorites) and that Marion’s role coming off the bench could help limit James’s minutes amid the hard slog of the season. But nothing had been determined, and Blatt wanted to experiment.
… James finished with 22 points and 9 assists for the Cavaliers (15-10), and Joe Johnson had a game-high 26 points for the Nets (10-15), who were undermanned.
With 4 minutes 23 seconds left in the second quarter, Deron Williams strained his right calf and went to the locker room with a team trainer. He did not return. The Nets were up by 5 points at the time. Jarrett Jack played well in his absence, but the Cavaliers had too many options on offense in the final minutes.
