日本時間の11日に開かれるノーベル賞授賞式に出席するため，スウェーデンの首都ストックホルムに赤崎勇・名城大終身教授，天野浩・名古屋大教授と中村修二・米カリフォルニア大サンタバーバラ校教授が集いました。

Nobel laureates descend upon Stockholm
STOCKHOLM — Three Japanese who won the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics for inventing and developing the blue light-emitting diode got together in Stockholm on Saturday as official events ahead of the award ceremony began.
Nagoya University Prof. Hiroshi Amano, 54, and Shuji Nakamura, 60, professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, put their signatures on chairs, an annual ritual for Nobel Prize-winners, and donated commemorative gifts to the Nobel Museum.
Amano presented a device that produces fluorescence in red, blue and green via ultraviolet LEDs. Amano’s name reportedly appears to float from the device when activated. Nakamura donated purple LEDs and others.
