昨日、8月30日に国民的アニメ『ルパン三世』の実写化映画が公開されました。この記事は女性なら誰もが憧れる『峰不二子』を演じた女優、黒木メイサに焦点が置かれているものです。
気になった表現はいくつかありましたが、その中で取り上げるのは”glue”です。名詞で「接着剤、のり」、または動詞で「接着剤でつける」といった意味で捉えられがちですが、ここでは前置詞”to”も共に用いて「〈目や耳を〉くぎづけにする、注意を集中する」という意味になります。『ジーニアス英和辞典第4版』（大修館）
まるで接着剤で付け合わせられたように見入ってしまうような状態なのでしょう。
2012年の『峰不二子』が主人公であるテレビアニメシリーズや、今年6月に期間限定上映された『次元大介』が主人公の映画などに引き続きいよいよ実写化ですが、正直なところ楽しみでもあり、怖くもあります。（Inaho）
