第67回カンヌ国際映画祭がフランス南部カンヌで開幕し、日本では長澤まさみさんが出席したことで話題になっています。そのレッドカーペットで珍事が起きました。

Creepy in Cannes: Man dives under America Ferrera's dress on red carpet

Well THIS just doesn’t happen at Cannes: Some guy — wearing what appeared to be official credentials — ran onto the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival and dived under America Ferrera’s tulle gown, before he was dragged off by security.

Ferrera, there with the rest of the cast for the premiere of How to Train Your Dragon 2, looked mighty upset afterwards, and no wonder. Cate Blanchett, standing next to her, was seen trying to comfort her.

The photographers went wild firing off shots. One captured a closeup of the guy’s face through the tulle netting of her full skirt. She had on a beautiful cream-colored gown, with a beaded, sleeveless bodice with a plunging scalloped neckline and a billowing skirt of the sort ballerinas used to wear.

Cannes is known for its decorum; this is France, after all. So who was this guy and why did he do it?
