富山、長野両県を結ぶ立山黒部アルペンルートでの除雪作業が終わり、全線が開通となりました。
15-meter-tall snow walls wow tourists on famous alpine route in Toyama
TOYAMA -- A famous alpine route with giant snow walls that stretches between Toyama and Nagano prefectures opened on April 16 for the first time in four and a half months, astonishing tourists from in and outside Japan.
Visitors can enjoy walking on an about 500-meter section of the road between giant snow walls that are as high as 15 meters at the Murodo area, the highest point on Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route with an altitude of 2,450 meters, until June 22.
The route is open until the end of November.

ルート上で、最高地点にある室堂では、道路の両側に高さ15ｍの「雪の大谷」が出現したそうで、時間があれば今にでも行きたい思いです。wowは感動と驚きを表す間投詞（interjection）ですが、このように無生物主語を据えて用いられることがあります。（GP）
