sitting duck #2

Global Warning: "We are all sitting ducks."

"We are all sitting ducks."

That's what Princton University's Michael Oppenheimer, one of the main authors of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report released today on climate change, said in response to the grim outlook within its pages.

The report says the threat could be irreversible and we are ill prepared for what's to come.

Will this be enough to change the way we live on this Earth? Sadly, I doubt it. Instead, I fear that the deniers will double down with their reactionary ways and will demonize the authors.

Despite the bleak outlook, one of the most impressive rainbows I've ever seen graced the sky over my street last night. I guess we may get a silver lining or two out of all this. Enjoy while you can.

We are all sitting ducks." (UG)
