UG先生ご指名ありがとうございます。”freebie”について調べなおしました。Oxford dictionariesによると「a thing that is provided or given free of charge」と書かれています。
この文章はプロジェクトを手伝ってくれた学生たちに辞書などを”freebie”するという意味だと思います。したがって，”freebie”を「プレゼントする」と訳すのではないかと考えました。（Ume）

Not sure if its possible, but in the proposal document we asked if it might be possible to get some "freebies" such as dictionaries which we could give to our students as appreciation for their support of this project.
