turn the proverbial corner
(UG)
Kagawa misses game due to overeating in Manchester United’s second straight loss
Just when you think Japanese attacking midfielder is going to turn the proverbial corner in his Manchester United career – with the possibility of getting a glut of games as striker Robin van Persie remains on the injury list – Shinji Kagawa was dropped from the team that lost to Newcastle over the weekend due possibly to gastronomic issues.
Kagawa had started the past two games and has been in a relatively good run of form, especially in United’s hammering of Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, but was unable to get well enough to make the team last Saturday.
