ロンドン五輪のボクシングで金メダリストとなった村田諒太が昨日、有明コロシアムでプロデビューを果たし、東洋太平洋ミドル級王者の柴田明雄にＴＫＯ勝ちをしました。３月に東洋大を退職し、4月にプロデビューをしたと関係で、うちの職員の間でも話題になっていました。

ところでそのボクシングでは、対戦のことを「カード」と呼び、メインイベント以外の対戦を「アンダーカード」と呼ぶのことをうかつながら知りませんでした（と言いますか、興味がなかったので気にも留めていませんでした）。

A fight card or card is a program of boxing consisting of all the boxing matches that take place during a boxing event. Fight cards consist of a main event and an undercard of the rest of the matches.
