The plan calls for more than 200 rooms, most of which will be doubles and twins, with a handful of suites. Four restaurants and lounges, a spa, indoor pool and fitness room are also in the works.
Besides the ski resort, the massive project in the area also encompasses a shopping area, vacation homes and areas where the natural environment can be experienced.

今回取り上げるのはencompassです。まず、compassといえば方位磁石のことを思い浮かべてしまいますが、compassには「地域、範囲」さらには「音域」という意味があります。（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』大修館）つまりen（〜の中に）＋compass（範囲）で「取り囲まれる」や「〜を含む」という意味になります。

このプロジェクトは、中国の富裕層や日本や韓国からの客もターゲットにしているそうです。記事を読む限りでは、ものすごい施設ができそうな感じがしますね。（Haramii）
