Cory Monteith dead at 31: Lea Michele ‘was shaking when she heard’ of boyfriend’s death
Bronx, NY-born Michele, 26 — who recently said that ‘no one knows me better than Cory,’ her boyfriend and co-castmate on ‘Glee’ — was in Mexico when news of Monteith’s death reached her. ‘She is devastated,’ a friend told the Daily News.
Montague said there was no obvious sign of foul play. He did not reveal if any drugs were found in the room. An autopsy is planned for Monday, he said.
Monteith, who was born in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, was found dead at about noon Saturday in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, a luxury waterfront hotel.
