Soon after the news broke, young Hollywood took to Twitter. "Glee" co-star and close friend Mark Salling was the first from the popular show to speak, though he could only write "no," and quickly deleted his post.
"And for the worst reason," she added. The 23-year-old pop singer previously kept mum about rumors that she wrote her hit song "Back to December" about a possible brief romance with the actor.
"RIP CoryMonteith," wrote Kristen Chenoweth, a frequent "Glee" guest star. "You will be loved. Always."
