今回は、記事のタイトルの一部から表現を拾いたいと思います。

過去にもブログで何度か登場している、go with the flowという表現に注目してみます。

これは、文字を見ての通りの意味なのですが、「流れに任せる，他人と同じことをする」(『ウィズダム英和辞典　第二版』三省堂)という意味になります。英英でも調べてみると、"to do what other people are doing or to agree with other people because it is the easiest thing to do"(Cambridge Dictionary Online)と載っています。
日本語でも「流れに身を任せる」という表現をしますが、英語でも似たように"go with the flow"と書くのですね。

この夫婦の構成は、もう少しで82歳になる奥さんと、84歳の旦那さんで出来ているのですが、結婚された時の年齢もまた驚きですね。(Astroriver)
