buckが気になりました。buckと聞くと、私の場合は動詞の、「＜馬が＞背を曲げてはねあがる」という意味を思い浮かべるのですが、ここでは名詞で、「＜＜米・豪略式＞＞ドル」（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第３版』大修館）という意味になります。念のため、LDOCEでも調べてみると、‘a US, Canadian, or Australian dollar’と記載されていました。(Shou-VR*)
