asteroid beltが気になったので取り上げます。これは天文用語で「（大半の小惑星が含まれる火星と木星の軌道にはさまれた領域の）小惑星帯」（『リーダーズ英和　第２版』研究社）という意味になります。余談ですが、beltは天文用語で「雲状帯」（『リーダーズ英和　第２版』研究社）という意味もあるので、これも併せて覚えておこうと思います。 (Shou-VR*)
