Disgraced judo coach Sonoda continued to bully athlete after she first reported abuse
It seems former head coach of the national women’s judo team Ryuji Sonoda’s bad publicity just keeps piling up. According to sources close to the All Japan Judo Federation (AJJF), Sonoda browbeat the first judoka who reported him to the federation for physically hurting her during trainings. The woman filed a complaint with the federation under her own name in late September, which immediately caused a senior official to ask Sonoda about it.
