次のスーパーボウル出場チーム、レイブンズの名プレイヤーであるレイ・ルイスは今シーズン限りで引退を表明していますが、優勝という最高の形で選手生活を終える事はできるのでしょうか。

押さえたい表現はjoin the clubです。もう一度、自分でLDOCEを調べてみると、"AmE spoken used after someone has described a bad situation that they are in, to tell them that you are in the same situation"と定義されていました。welcome to the clubという表現も同じ意味で、こちらをWEBで調べてみると「私もあなたと同じ状況［状態・境遇］です！／こちらも同様です！◆【直訳】ようこそ同好会へ！⇒私たちは仲間です。」（英辞郎 on the WEB）と書かれていました。一度、目にした表現が間髪を置かずでてくると何ともいえない気分になります。
