気になったのは形容詞physicalの前の冠詞です。これは、physical examinationのことでしょう。LDOCEにも、physical or physical examinationの見出しであります。もちろん「身体検査・健康診断」（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』大修館）です。
手持ちの辞書にpendの形では載っていませんが、英辞郎on the webには他動詞の用法がありませんでした。ここでは(pending)、前置詞と見るのが良いのではないでしょうか。『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』(大修館)には「《正式》…まで(till)」とあります。
