blastというと「突風」という意味がすぐに思い浮かぶかと思います。しかしここではその意味ではないようです。辞書には，「＜話＞とても楽しいひと時［体験］」とありました（『リーダーズ英和辞典』第２版，研究社）。またLDOCEにはan enjoyable and exciting experienceとあり，The concert was a blast.という例文も書かれています。一語一義では対応できない単語の一つですね。またペネロぺ・クルスはこのシリーズのファンだったことや，念願だったジョニー・デップとの共演が実現したこともあり，撮影をとても楽しめたようですね。（ゼミ生 b.m.）
