twit → twat?

もうひとつ。Twitter関連で面白い（英国的な）言い回しを知りました。以下はThe curse of Twitterと題する記事から。さて，もう高田馬場へ行かなきゃ。（UG）
Why, David Cameron was once asked, don't you have a Twitter account? "Politicians do have to think about what we say," he replied. "The trouble with Twitter…the instantness of it… too many twits might make a twat." At the time, it was Mr Cameron who looked like a twit, as his opponents seized upon his crude language.
